Stone Acres Farm is a family-owned and operated vegetable and fruit producer in Wallingford, VT. Nestled on the western edge of the Green mountains, our acres hold a magnificent view of White Rocks.
Pat and Dan Stone followed their life-long dream of owning a farm in Vermont, purchasing 132 acre non-functioning dairy farm in December 2010. Since opening in 2013, we’ve started producing organically grown vegetables and herbs.
2014 saw changes to the original farm layout, with the addition of our first hoop house and cold storage facility. Fruit trees and berries were planted for our homemade jams and jellies. We had a successful first season with our participation in the Manchester and Dorset Farmers Markets.
In 2015 we were able to offer our produce on a very local level, selling in Wallingford 2 days a week North of town on a lot at Shaws Sales and Service.
2016 saw an expansion to a separate field that became our "mash squash pit". We started selling vegetables to Stanti, the chef and owner of the Victorian Inn, here in Wallingford.
